Announcing the MR. J's Valentine's Day Meal Delivery Service


MR. J's Valentine's Day Meal Delivery is a new, unique way to celebrate Valentine's Day!

In the comfort and privacy of your own home, you and your Valentine can dine on a chef prepared meal that has been delivered right to you.  The pace of your evening is all up to you! All you have to do is heat and serve.  Complete instructions are provided for you to follow.  The best part is, since you will be putting the finishing touches on this meal, you can either take all the credit or you can share the cooking process with your Valentine.  Either way, you will definitely make a great impression! 

We offer three Valentine's Day Packages:  The Silver, The Gold and The Diamond.  Each package feeds two people.  

Have your orders in by midnight on Wednesday, February 12th for delivery on Valentine's Day. 

Ordering is simple.  Check out the packages and their prices listed below the menu.  Select your package and make your choices from the menu items available for that particular packages.  Add the package to your cart and proceed to check out.  In the notes section, please let us know your choices.  It's that easy!

The meals are all delivered with the components separate.  For example, all the components of the salad are packaged separately so all you have to do is combine and serve.  For the Baked Brie Wedge or the Wellingtons, you just put them in the oven.  Sauces are easily heated on the stove top.  And the ravioli's are cooked in boiling water.

Valentine's Day Menu

Appetizers:

Baked Brie Wedge in Puff Pastry with Dried Cherries and Herbs

A wedge of brie is topped with dried cherries that have been soaked in port with some savory herbs and then wrapped in puff pastry, all you have to do is bake!

Roasted Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail

8 jumbo shrimp are roasted and served with our house-made cocktail sauce or classic remoulade sauce.

Clobster Cake with Classic Remoulade Sauce

Lump crab meat and lobster is formed into cakes along with some bell pepper, herbs,

a little mayo and some breadcrumb, coated in panko and lightly pan fried.  All you have to do is heat in the oven.  
A remoulade sauce is served along with the clobtser cake.

Soups:

Shrimp Bisque

We make this classic shrimp bisque from our own seafood stock, shrimp, cream and seasonings.  
This is delicious, smooth and creamy.  

Wild Mushroom Bisque with Sherry, Thyme and Bleu Cheese Crouton

Mushrooms are roasted and then cooked with a mushroom broth, and then blended along with some cream.  We finish the soup with a touch of sherry and some fresh thyme.  Served with a bleu cheese crouton.  

 

Salads:

Mixed Green Salad with Parmesan Crisps

        Mixed greens are tossed with some fresh basil, grape tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, cucumber, toasted pine nuts and a red wine vinaigrette.  The salad is topped with parmesan crisps, parmesan chips that have been baked into crispy, cracker-like rounds.  

Spinach Salad with Champagne and Pear Vinaigrette

Spinach is tossed with our homemade champagne and pear vinaigrette along with gorgonzola crumbles, dried cherries,   herbed-candied walnuts, and red onions

 

Entrees:

Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine, Rosemary and Chocolate Sauce with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes   and a Vegetable

Beef tenderloin is seasoned to perfection and seared rare (all you have to do is heat in the oven to desired temperature) and served with a silky Red Wine, Rosemary and Chocolate Sauce which does not taste sweet or chocolatey;  rather, it has a full bodied, complex, extraordinary flavor that you just can't pin down.  

Braised Chicken with Gewurtztraminer and Grapes with Caramelized Onion Risotto and Sauteed Baby Green Beans with Shallots

Bone-in, skin on chicken thighs are braised in a sweet-savory sauce made from onion, garlic, chicken stock, gewurtztraminer, grapes and herbs.  This is served along with Caramelized Onion Risotto and Sauteed Baby Green Beans with Shallots.  

Homemade Artichoke Heart & Spinach Ravioli with Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Sauce

Our homemade ravioli is stuffed with sauteed, chopped artichoke hearts, sauteed spinach, shallots, garlic, ricotta cheese, and herbs.  All you have to do is heat the sauce over low heat and boil the ravioli! 

 Homemade Jumbo Lobster Ravioli with Crabmeat Cream Sauce

Our homemade ravioli is stuffed with lobster meat, shallots, ricotta cheese, herbs and spices.  This ravioli is topped with a delicious Crabmeat Cream Sauce made from chunks of real crab meat, cream, shallots,a little cognac and seasonings.

  Individual Beef Wellingtons with Garlic Mashed Potatoes And Sauteed French Green Beans with Pancetta and Shallots

Filet mignon is topped with a delicious Mushroom Duxelle and wrapped in puff pastry.  All you have to do is heat in the oven until the puff pastry is golden brown and the steak is to your desired temperature.  This is served with our garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed french green beans with garlic and shallots.   

Dessert:

Pair of Individual Chocolate Heart Cakes with Chocolate Genache, Raspberry Sauce and Creme Anglaise

Everything in this dessert is 100% homemade.  Heart-shaped chocolate cakes are topped with chocolate genache.  We send along a vanilla creme anglaise and the raspberry sauce.
