2016 Holiday Drop-Off Menu

This is our 2016 Holiday Drop-Off Menu that is perfect for any entertaining and food needs you have this holiday season.  We also offer full service and event planning services if you are looking for a higher level of service beyond a drop-off of your food.  Please contact our office at 562-612-4284 to place your order or ask questions.  

Cold/Room Temperature Appetizers
(each order comes with 2 pieces, unless otherwise noted)

Caprese Salad Skewers: a small, fresh mozzarella ball, grape or cherry tomato and fresh basil on a skewer drizzled with a Italian Vinaigrette.

Caramelized Bacon: a sweet and spicy slightly addictive treat that is served room temperature.

Individual Veggie Crudite Cups: clear, plastic cups are filled with a variety of fresh, raw vegetables with some homemade ranch dressing on the bottom.

Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Marscapone with Aioli

Smoked Salmon & Dill Cream Cheese Cucumber Bites

Spicy Ahi Poke on Rice Crackers: sushi grade ahi tuna is marinated in tamari, sesame oil, Thai garlic paste, and green onion. This is served with rice crackers on the side.

Lobster Salad on Cucumber Rounds:  lobster is cooked in a flavorful broth then chilled, chopped and mixed with mayonnaise, celery and seasonings and served with cucumber round on the side.

Lobster Salad Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls - lobster is cooked in a flavorful broth and then chilled, chopped and mixed with mayonnaise, celery and seasonings.

Green Herb Roasted Salmon Platter with Sour Cream, Caper & Dill Sauce - a whole filet (side) of salmon is roasted to perfection with a trio of fresh green herbs (green onion, dill, and parsley), extra virgin olive oil and salt and pepper and served room temperature. This is served with a homemade sour cream, caper and dill sauce. One platter can serve 8-12 people.

Classic Jumbo Shrimp Platter with Homemade Cocktail Sauce - large shrimp are cooked to perfection in a flavorful broth, peeled, deveined and chilled. The shrimp are served with lemon wedges and our homemade cocktail sauce. Serving size is approximately 3 per person:
Small Platter - Serves 10 to 14 
Large Platter - Serves 16 to 20

Mac and Cheese Bites: our homemade mac and cheese baked in mini muffin tins.

Mini Corn Dog Muffins: this is our take on pigs in a blanket. We make a mini muffin from our homemade cornbread batter and bake it with a piece of all beef hot dog in the center and serve with mustard.

Flatbread Pizzas (you get four pieces per pizza) -
         Double Cheese (mozzarella & syrah soaked tuscano)
         Homemade Pesto and Sauteed Mushroom
         Charcuterie (variety of Italian meats)

Classic Cocktail Meatballs

Pineapple-Teriyaki Chicken Cocktail Meatballs

Grilled Tri-Tip Skewers: tri tip is sliced into bite size slices and marinated in coconut milk with tamari, a little fish sauce, garlic, ginger and lime zest and grilled. This is served with a Scallion Dipping Sauce.

Chicken Piccata Stuffed Mushrooms: the classic chicken piccata is stuffed into a mushroom and baked.

Pulled Porchetta Sliders: pork roast is rubbed with extra-virgin olive oil, garlic and herbs and slow roasted until it falls apart and served with rolls for sliders.

Monte Cristo Sliders: honey roasted turkey, black forest ham and swiss cheese on a Hawaiian roll and baked. Then they are dusted with powdered sugar and served with raspberry jelly.

Short Rib Sliders - short ribs are slow cooked in a classic red wine sauce until they fall apart and served with a roll.

Cajun Shrimp - large shrimp are cooked with our homemade Cajun style Bbq broth sauce and served with a Hawaiian roll.

Soups & Stews
(one cup of soup per order)

Winter Minestrone - filled with pasta, chunky veggies, beans and spinach.

Roasted Butternut Squash - butternut squash is roasted and then simmered in chicken broth with onions, carrots, a little saffron and cream.

Creole Shrimp Bisque - a homemade shrimp stock is cooked all day, and then simmered along with some spices, cream and shrimp.

Classic Beef Bourguignon - the classic French beef stew.

Salads

Marinated Vegetable Salad - broccoli, cauliflower and grape tomatoes are marinated in a flavorful Italian style vinaigrette.

Quinoa with Arugula, Broccoli, Dried Cherries, Chopped Roasted Pistachios and a Champagne Vinaigrette

Field Greens with Chopped Red Bell Pepper, Grape Tomatoes, Parmesan Crisps and a Basil Vinaigrette

Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons and Shaved Parmesan

Roasted Butternut Squash on Mixed Field Greens with Toasted-Chopped Hazelnuts and Cranberry Balsamic Vinaigrette

Entrees
(served with green salad: tomatoes, cucumber, parmesan crisps and basil vinaigrette)

Classic Chicken Coq au Vin: chicken thighs are braised in the classic French red wine sauce.

Mustard Roasted Chicken Breast: a boneless-skinless chicken breast is roasted after it has been coated in a mustard sauce and topped with panic bread crumbs.

Short Ribs Braised in a Red Wine Sauce - short ribs are braised in flavorful beef broth along with tomato, carrot, onion, garlic, red wine and herbs until they are fall apart tender.

Shrimp Scampi - large shrimp are sautéed in our signature scampi butter and served on a bed of linguini.

Fettucine with Lobster, Tomatoes and Saffron - large pieces of lobster are simmered in a saffron infused, tangy tomato sauce and tossed with fettuccine.

Porchetta Style Roast Pork - a pork shoulder roast is rubbed with herbs and marinated over night and is then slow cooked at a low temperature until the skin is crispy and the meat is tender. This feeds 8-10 people. 

Raspberry Glazed Spiral Cut Bone-In Ham - feeds 10-15 people.

MR. J’s Jambalya: andouille sausage, chicken and shrimp come together in this classic rice dish. This feeds 6-8 people.

Butternut Squash Lasagna - fresh butternut squash is roasted and then mixed with a rosemary infused Béchamel style cream sauce and layered with lasagna noodles and parmesan cheese: 1/2 tray (feeds 6-8) or full tray (feeds 12-16).

Lobster Mac and Cheese - the ultimate in indulgence. Macaroni is tossed with a sherry cream sauce, gruyere and sharp cheddar cheeses, hunks of lobster meat, topped with bread crumbs and baked: 1/2 tray (feeds 6-8) or full tray (feeds 12-16).

Short Rib Lasagna - short ribs are slowly braised in a beefy, red wine and port infused sauce until they fall apart into the sauce and create a meaty ragu style sauce, which is then layered with lasagna noodles, a creamy Béchamel sauce along with parmesan cheese: 1/2 tray (feeds 6-8) or full tray (feeds 12-16).

Cider-Brined, Mustard Glazed Pork Loin: a boneless pork loin is brined in apple cider and then brushed with a maple-mustard glaze, baked and then sliced. Includes 2 sides below. Feeds 8-12 people.

Prime Rib Roast with Mustard and Herb Butter Dinner - a boneless prime rib roast is rubbed with fresh herbs like thyme, rosemary and sage, garlic, dijon and butter and marinated over night. It is then slow roasted to rare and delivered room temperature, and can be warmed in the oven to a higher degree of doneness if you prefer. Served with a mustard-herb butter. Includes 2 sides below. Feeds 10-12 people.
